Pack Animal, Inc. (“Pack Animal”, “we”, “us” or “our”) designs, manufactures and sells motorcycle and travel accessories (the "Services"). we are headquartered in Seattle, WA in the United States. Our Services, which include this website, exist to enable Customers and Visitors to, among other things, travel the world by motorcycle or by other means.
"Customer" means any person or entity that places an order through our website, whether or not any payment is collected.
'Recipient' means any person who receives or is intended to receive an order placed through our website, whether or not they are a Customer.
"Personal Information" means any information that identifies or can be used to identify a Customer, a Recipient, or a Visitor, directly or indirectly. When you make a purchase or use our Services: When you place an order you will be asked to provide certain basic information to facilitate the transaction and deliver you the goods. This information may include (i) your name, email address, shipping address, and phone number, (ii) information about a motorcycle you may or may not own, including any images of this motorcycle you may provide to us, (iii) information about other people, such as when you direct us to send a product to another Recipient.
When you make a purchase, we ask you to provide payment information, which may include payment card information (such as credit card number, type, and expiration date), billing address, and shipping address. Our payment processor, which is required by credit card issuers to meet specific security requirements, will collect, store, and process your credit card and other payment information on our behalf using industry-standard security measures. We do not store any payment card information.
When you contact us: We do everything possible to make sure you have an exceptional experience when interacting with us. If you contact us in person, by phone (calling or texting), email, instant message (including Facebook Messenger and Instagram Direct Messaging), through any social media App, or by some other means, we may keep a record of your contact information and the content of the communication for later reference. When we send you emails, we may track whether you open them to learn how to deliver a better customer experience and improve our Services. When you sign up to receive our Newsletter: When you signup for our newsletter we will ask you to provide information such as your name and email address. Shopping Cart and Checkout

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
The GDPR is an EU Regulation to improve the protection of the personal data of EU citizens and increase the obligations of organizations who collect or process personal data. These new regulations take effect on the 25th of May 2018. The regulations greatly enhance the data privacy and security of our customers and extend to them exercisable rights enabling greater control over one's personally identifiable information.

Pack Animal functions as both a controller and processor of our customers' personally identifiable information (PII). Additionally, we contract a number of sub-processors to which we transmit data for storage or processing beyond feature sets under our immediate control.
As a controller of data, we store PII such as customer names, email addresses, physical addresses, IP addresses, and phone numbers. We use databases through GDPR compliant service providers (Google cloud, Squarespace, Shipstation) to store sensitive customer data.
Pack Animal is also a processor of customer data. We use customer data to design custom motorcycle mounting kits, as well as to track product warranties, customer purchase history, and customer service records. Sub-processors are leveraged by Pack Animal for purposes of financial transaction execution, internal analytics, and shipping services.

Your Data Protection Rights

To access, correct, update or request deletion of Personal Information. Pack Animal takes reasonable steps to ensure that the data we collect is reliable for its intended use, accurate, complete and up to date. Customers may contact us directly by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In addition, individuals who are residents of the EEA can object to processing of their Personal Information, ask to restrict processing of their Personal Information or request portability of their Personal Information. Customers and Visitors who have opted in to our marketing emails can opt out of receiving marketing emails from us at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of our marketing messages.

How do we protect Personal Information?
We take appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect Personal Information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, taking into account the risks involved in the processing and the nature of the Personal Information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to our systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. When you place orders or provide your personal information, we use a secure server. All sensitive/credit information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our databases to be only accessed as stated above.
Retention of Data
We retain Personal Information where we have an ongoing legitimate business or legal need to do so. Our retention periods will vary depending on the type of data involved, but, generally, we'll refer to these criteria in order to determine retention period:
